Beckie is a highly experienced vocal teacher and musician, providing inspiring contemporary singing and piano lessons to all ages and abilities since 2013. She believes that anyone can learn to sing – the phrase ‘tone deaf’ is a myth!

Beckie has studied music from a very young age, starting with the recorder at infant school, and then learning the violin and piano. She has always been a singer yet began to take it more seriously whilst at secondary school.

Beckie completed her music degree at the University of Derby and whilst there explored many styles of music and also learnt in great detail the workings of the recording studio. Beckie’s other qualifications also include Grade 8 Vocals and Grade 5 Music Theory, and she is currently studying Speech and Language Therapy at De Montford University in Leicester.

She began teaching vocals just before finishing university in 2013 and since then has built up her music tuition business. She prides herself in building a friendly rapport with all of her students, bringing a smile and a friendly atmosphere to her lessons.

Beckie is quickly becoming a well-known face within the vocal tuition industry. She is involved with several projects, namely Open Mic UK, of which she has served as a judge in Nottingham and Sheffield since 2015. She has also been contacted by scouts for The X Factor and so not only does she teach techniques and performance skills, but also has an eye for talent!

Outside of teaching, Beckie is also regularly performing as a professional musician under the name of Rebecca Rhosyn. She organises live music showcases for all of her students, which without a doubt is one of the highlights of the year.
