Happy New Year!
Our lessons have started again after finishing 2016 with our fantastic Christmas Showcase, there are pictures on our Facebook page if you would like to take a look.
However, before Christmas I unfortunately received some bad news. Due to neighbours complaining to the council (mostly about students parking in the cul-de-sac), the local council have now restricted my teaching hours to Monday-Friday 12-9pm.
I am very thankful to my Saturday students who have kindly changed their regular lesson slot at short notice so that I am not breaching these times.
I have noticed a minority of students are still parking in the cul-de-sac, directly outside of the house, even after I have spoken to everyone about the situation (which has been ongoing since August) and given out numerous letters. I feel I must now state that if this problem continues then the council will stop me teaching lessons. Obviously this is not a situation I would like to be in so please park your car further up the road and around the corner.
I understand that there are some situations which mean it would be more ideal to park outside of the house however this has become a very serious matter and I must add that we are being watched.
I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused and for ending this blog post on a negative vibe, unfortunately there is not much else I can do but keep asking everyone to park away from the house, and I hope that you can continue to support me in a job that I love doing .
